Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant, you will lead projects from end-to-end, build trusted relationships with clients and contribute expertise and insights to drive project impacts. You’ll play a critical role in designing and delivering high-quality strategies, reports, and engagement processes. You’ll also help to shape how we work contributing to the evolution of our internal systems, tools, and learning.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a project lead, ensuring deliverables are on time, on budget, and meet client expectations.

Co-design and implement tailored methodologies using tools such as human-centered design, continuous quality improvement, implementation science and design thinking.

Facilitate collaborative processes, including workshops, interviews, and focus groups with diverse stakeholders.

Produce high-quality, insight-driven deliverables including reports, slide decks, frameworks, and toolkits that are tailored to key audience and visually appealing.

Provide regular updates to BoardWalk leadership and client teams on project status, emerging insights, and risks.

Conduct and synthesize environmental scans, literature reviews, jurisdictional scans, and best practice research.

Apply both qualitative and quantitative methods to support evidence-informed insights.

Translate complex findings into accessible, visually engaging knowledge products.

Contribute to a culture of feedback and learning, sharing knowledge, providing mentorship and identifying opportunities for change.

Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and business development activities.

Help refine internal project tools, templates, and knowledge-sharing systems.
Skills & Qualifications

5-10 years in a consulting, project management or strategy environment

Experience in the health and/or social sectors

Experience working with community, non-profit and public sector organizations, networks of organizations, and/or government

Demonstrated success managing projects or workstreams with multiple informants

Strong writing, synthesis, and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences

Expertise in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with an eye for layout and design

Ability to balance multiple deadlines and balance priorities

Ability to work in team setting and independently
-
Familiarity with systems thinking, change management, and/pr community-engaged strategy.

Training or experience in facilitation, co-design, and/or informant engagement

Proficiency in collaboration platforms (Miro, Wrike, Teams, etc.)

Bilingualism (French/English) or additional language skills.
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., public health, social policy, business administration, community planning) is considered an asset.

The position is fully remote, but also requires travel to client location
