Role Overview

 

We are seeking an Associate Consultant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys managing the details that keep projects moving forward. You’ll support the planning and execution of complex engagements, contribute to high-quality deliverables, and help facilitate meaningful collaboration among stakeholders.

This position offers exposure to diverse initiatives, from youth mental health to long-term care and broader system transformation. You’ll be working on real-time problem-solving with clients across Ontario and beyond, supporting both the strategy and implementation phases of our work.

 

What You’ll Do

 

Project Coordination & Management

  • Lead project coordination, including task tracking, scheduling, and general project management

  • Support the development of workplans, scoping documents, and project status updates

  • Track deliverables, timelines, and milestones across concurrent projects

 

Analysis & Problem-Solving

  • Support analysis using both quantitative and qualitative approaches 

  • Conduct research, literature scans, and environmental scans

  • Apply structured problem-solving and critical thinking

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation

  • Assist with planning and facilitating workshops, interviews, and meetings

  • Conduct surveys and other forms of information collection

  • Prepare briefing materials, discussion guides, and post-session summaries

  • Help capture insights and translate them into clear, actionable outputs

 

Deliverables & Communication

  • Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and communication materials

  • Ensure all deliverables are clear, visually engaging, and aligned with quality standards

  • Communicate findings and progress effectively to clients and internal teams

 

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Support day-to-day activities required to move projects forward 

  • Help refine internal processes, templates, and knowledge-sharing systems

  • Comfortable working across diverse health and social sectors with a variety of stakeholders, from community groups to policymakers

  • Strong in research, writing, and analytical skills, with a knack for distilling complex information into clear, actionable insights

 

Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

 

  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in project management, continuous improvement, or clinical expertise

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills are required

  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills are required

  • Knowledge of the social, health care or public sector are required

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working with diverse clients and stakeholders

  • Experience with project management 

  • Experience using research and data to make evidence-informed decisions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Previous consulting experience would be considered an asset

 

Educational Background:

 

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as public health, social work, health policy, business administration, or a related discipline. A master’s degree is an asset but not required

 

Workplace Type:

 

  • The position is mostly remote, but also requires travel to client location

  • Prefer candidate that are located within the Greater Toronto Area
