Alisha Matte, PhD, is Head of Excellence and Impact at BoardWalk Group. She brings over a decade of experience in applied research, evaluation, performance measurement, and system transformation across Canada's health, government, and community sectors.

Alisha holds a PhD in Population Medicine/Epidemiology from the University of Guelph and draws on her training in qualitative and quantitative methods to support evidence-informed decision-making. Her work spans mental health and addictions, crisis services, supportive housing, home and long-term care, early childhood development, and integrated service delivery. She partners with governments, health system organizations, and community agencies on evaluations, measurement frameworks, data strategies, and strategic plans that reflect the needs of the people and communities they serve.

Whether she is untangling ambiguity, coaching colleagues through complex projects, or connecting ideas across sectors, she brings a systems-thinking lens and a steady focus on quality.
