Kasia Bruski, co-founder of Boardwalk Group, is a health systems leader who is passionate about helping governments and community organizations tackle strategic challenges to improve their services and better their communities. She has over 12 years of experience in health leadership positions working at a provincial and pan-Canadian level, as well as international health leadership experience.
Kasia spent several years leading major health transformation initiatives for the National Health Services of England (NHS England). This includes roles such as Head of Contracting and Policy for New Business Models at NHS England where she was responsible for leading policy and negotiating changes to the law that enable implementation of integrated care and Deputy Director for Accountable Care Development across 5 Clinical Commissioning Groups in NW London. Kasia also led several management consulting projects in England’s healthcare sector including working with clients such as London Ambulance Services, Great Ormand Street Hospital, NWL Clinical Commissioning Groups and others.
Bringing her learnings and passion for integration back to Canada, Kasia joined Health Standard Organization as Integrated Care Practice Lead where she worked with policy makers, governments, and providers around the world to develop resources and tools for the implementation of integrated care.
Kasia also has several years working in public sector management consulting roles in Canada specializing in strategy, governance, business design, and change management for provincial and pan-Canadian system transformation programs, most notably in health care, professional credentialing/regulation, labour market development, emergency management, and resource management.
Kasia has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
